| A Bird Dog FAC aircraft was destroyed in an accident in South Vietnam. The crew were rescued by a HH-43B Huskie from the 38th ARRS’s Detachment 11 at Tuy Hoa. Capt Krehbiel died of his wounds two days after the accident. |
