| An O-2 was hit by ground fire in the tail boom during a visual reconnaissance flight at 4,000 feet in the Khe Sanh area. Capt Parr (call sign Covey 276) made a crash landing at Khe Sanh. The aircraft was damaged beyond repair and Capt Parr was injured and medevaced back to Da Nang. |
