| The 20th TASS lost another aircraft on the same day when an O-2 ran out of fuel during a photographic reconnaissance mission. Both crew survived the subsequent crash-landing on a beach and were rescued by a Da Nang HH-43B flown by Capt David J Jogerst who had rescued Maj L D Tyrell when his A-4E Skyhawk went down earlier on the 9th. |
