| The 20th TASS lost two O-2 pilots in two separate incidents on the 23rd. Maj Reed was marking a target in the DMZ buffer zone within two miles of the coast when he was lost. His aircraft (call sign Barky 1) was hit by ground fire as he rolled in on his target and he was unable to escape from the O-2 before it crashed. |
