| The 19th TASS began to receive the OV-10 in August and lost its first aircraft (and the first USAF OV-10 to be lost in Southeast Asia) when it suffered an engine failure during a training flight. Both crew ejected safely and were rescued by a HH-43B, becoming the first men to survive the crash of a Bronco in Southeast Asia. |
