| An OV-10 FAC (call sign Sidewinder 3) was shot down near Ben Cat, 15 miles northwest of Bien Hoa. The aircraft was flying over its target at 4,000 feet when its port wing was hit by .50 calibre anti-aircraft fire. The crew ejected safely and were picked up by a US Army helicopter. |
