| A Bronco (call sign Dart) was conducting a training flight from Bien Hoa when it was shot down by small arms fire. Lt Col Briggs and Capt Woods were practising GCA and ADF approaches to the airfield when the starboard engine was hit and caught fire. The aircraft crashed near Long Thanh, 12 miles southeast of Bien Hoa and neither of the crew escaped. |
