| The second FAC lost at An Loc was shot down about four hours after the first and was flown by 1Lt Haselton as Sundog 3. Again, the aircraft was hit by flak and crashed before the pilot could escape. Also shot down near An Loc on this day was an Army AH-1 Cobra and a VNAF Skyraider. John Haselton’s remains were recovered from the crash site in 1974. |
