Sundog 5 was an O-2 FAC that was shot down on a mission just on the Cambodian side of the border with South Vietnam about 30 miles northwest of Saigon. The aircraft was hit by 37mm flak and both the crew bailed out and parachuted safely into the jungle. An Army helicopter later rescued them.
