| During an armed reconnaissance mission an OV-10 was hit by ground fire near An Hoa, 15 miles southwest of Da Nang. Both the crew ejected safely and were later recovered. The serial number quoted for this aircraft in loss reports is incorrect as the number stated, 67-14643, had an extensive history after this date, including service with the 601st TCW at Sembach in the 1980s. In 1991, it was signed over to the Colombian Air Force. |
