Maj David Ashby Farrow (KIA)

Southern Laos was proving to be an increasingly unhealthy place for the slow, unarmed FACs. Maj Farrow’s aircraft (call sign Hound Dog 5) was hit by ground fire 15 miles west of Khe Sanh and he attempted to reach Nakhon Phanom (where he may have been temporarily based). Unfortunately the aircraft crashed about five miles short of the airfield and Maj Farrow was killed.
